| Located
in a prime residential area, Broxbourne sports club occupies
a picturesque 13 acre site which runs alongside the New
River with views over the local countryside.

| The
Club can trace its origins back over 100 years to 1848
and until 1925 was owned by the Bosanquet family who lived
in Broxbournebury. |

| The
land was purchased by the present Club in 1926. During
the war the club continued to flourish with the then sporting
sections being recognized as amongst the strongest in
the county. |
| Continued
improvements of, squash courts, members bar’s, fitness
rooms and mini tennis have evolved the Club into its present
day form. |

| With
four flourishing sporting sections, Tennis,
Squash,
Hockey
and Cricket,
the Club now boasts a strong road Running
and cross country club for over 16’s of all abilities.

| Open
seven days a week, the Broxbourne Sports Club now provides
not only a valuable sports facility to local residents
but a safe and secure social venue for local families. |
| Other
activities include Keep Fit, Pilates, and Dance classes.
Bridge groups, Gardening and Croquet Clubs are also on
offer to those slightly less energetic. |

only is there a busy members bar but a separate function
room provides a facility for private parties, meetings
and family events. |
